2021 has been an extraordinary year during which many people faced
challenges that would have been unimaginable before March 2020. This
month’s call will offer information on a variety of resources for self-care
that can help you build resiliency, cope with social isolation, and
re-establish a structured, feel-good lifestyle, even as we continue to find
balance in our ever-changing “new normal”.

Will provide information on the free services offered by *NJ Hope and
Healing* that can help you adapt, cope and build resiliency in a safe and
accessible virtual environment.

Will discuss the NJ 2-1-1 Information and Referral Resource line and how it
can be used to find answers to a variety of questions that will assist in
addressing individual needs.

Volunteer *

Will discuss how volunteering and giving back to your community can benefit
you.



*Adrienne Cantine**, Playwright and Member Toastmasters International *

Will discuss how creative expression and public speaking helped her adjust
to vision loss.



*Gabrielle White and Lamon Jones**, Members, Peanuts Social Club *

Will discuss the activities and group travel experiences of their social
club, founded by and for people who are blind, deaf-blind and visually
impaired.
