are having living with diabetes – with other people living with diabetes!
Utilizing peer group problem-solving (asking questions, listening to
responses and having a group discussion) we will come up with personalized
solutions for you. Seize the opportunity to meet others living with
diabetes and talk about your personal challenges as you would talk to a
friend!

I’ve always thought I was quite conscientious about having my ducks in a
row. This week has proven me wrong. As a quadriplegic who requires
significant help from others to get through each day, I rely heavily on my
caregiver. When she had a medical emergency, I was completely unprepared. I
had to scramble to ask all my close friends and family for assistance. I
was hoping that all the years that I have cultivated great relationships,
that they would not mind helping me in this timely crisis. Luckily, they
came through. My caregiver is recovering and I realize I need to have a
backup plan even when things are going well; so you can teach “old dogs new
tricks”. Please join me to discuss what you have done or need to do for a
backup plan.
