1. National Convention News:

a.   Hybrid Caucus Meeting: Date and time will be announced mid-June
shortly after the agenda is released by National; stay tuned for details.

b.   NFBNJ In-Person National Convention Rookie Round-Up:  If you are
attending the National Convention in-person, please save the date and time
of Wednesday, June 22 at 7 pm for our NFBNJ Rookie Round-Up to review
details and answer your questions; stay tuned for participation details.

c.    Reminder:  Pre-Registration Reimbursement Process
On Friday, July 15 current NFBNJ dues paying members who pre-registered for
the National Convention will receive an email with a link to apply for the
$25 registration reimbursement. The application process will close on
Sunday, July 31 and checks will be disbursed and mailed mid to end of
August.  *No applications will be accepted after Sunday, July 31.*
2. 46th Annual State Convention News:

a.   Dates & Location:  We are pleased to announce our 46th Annual State
Convention will be held from Thursday, November 10 through Sunday, November
13 at the Delta Hotels, Woodbridge.  Address is 515 US Highway 1 South
Iselin, NJ 08830.

b.   Theme: Thank you to the 14 members who submitted a convention theme
suggestion. Our Board of Directors will announce the theme before the end
of this month.

c.    Hotel Rates & Reservations: Price:
$124.00 for each room night plus applicable taxes. Price includes bagged
continental breakfasts for each night
When reserving your room, use code Name of Event:  National Federation of
the Blind of New Jersey.
To make a reservation call (800) 468-3571
Reservations by attendees must be received on or before Monday, October 10,
2022 and a credit or debit card will be required to hold the reservation,
and not charged. *After October 10 any rooms allocated for the convention
will no longer be available at the event rate*.

d.   Pre-Registration: Opens on Monday August 1 and closes on Monday,
October 20, 2022. After October 20 conventioneers will pay a much higher
Walk-up prices; stay tuned for additional details and link.

e.   General Session Recommendations: An email with a link will be sent in
mid-July for your Saturday, November 12 afternoon general session
recommendations.

f. Exhibitor Recommendations: In August another email with a link will be
sent for all to recommend a convention exhibitor.  We will offer two types
of exhibitors: hybrid (in-person & virtual) and virtual only. The following
information will be required to submit your recommendation.
