As we approach the end of the nationally declared COVID-19 health
emergency, we are all faced with the challenge of navigating a “new normal”
way of living.



The Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired is pleased to announce a
series of workshops, which are being presented as an awareness and
communications strategy that we hope will help consumers attain a greater
understanding of CBVI services and programs as well as other resources that
may help overcome barriers to personal security, well-being and
participation in all aspects of life.

This workshop will offer information on the role of CBVI’s regional social
workers and how they help staff meet the needs of consumers; how to use the
NJ 2-1-1 to identify and connect with a variety of helpful resources; and
how CBVI works to share important information with consumers and spread the
word about our services and programs in the community.
