It's almost time for the 2023 NJ Regional Braille Challenge! We are excited
to share the event information below and in the attached postcard.  Please
feel free to share with others!

*What: *5th Annual New Jersey Regional Braille Challenge

*When:* March 4, 2023 9:30 am-3:00 pm

*Where:* Joseph Kohn Training Center in New Brunswick

*Who: *Any blind or low vision student in 1st through 12th grades who can
read and write braille is eligible to participate

*How it works:* Students compete in a series of five skills contests
demonstrating braille reading and comprehension, speed and accuracy,
spelling, proofreading, and tactile graphics. The day also includes fun
activities and workshops for parents. To learn more about the Braille

*Registration:* A parent/guardian may register their child by completing
and submitting the Permission Form

no later than February 8th. Submissions sent after the deadline will be
accepted as space allows.

The New Jersey Regional Braille Challenge is co-hosted by VISTAS Education
Partners and the National Federation of the Blind of New Jersey. For more
