> this is to inform you of the formation meeting of the Performing Arts Division of the National Federation of the Blind of Oregon.
> Why?:  To build a network of peers to share techniques, resources, and support.  Who is invited?:  Blind musicians, poets, actors, singers, dancers, comedians, parents of blind children, teachers of the blind vendors of accessible services and or equipment of a performing arts nature...and anyone else ready to live the life they want in the performing arts.    
> When:  Tuesday, Oct. 29 at 6:00pm
> Where:  Folks across the state are encouraged to call or write an e-mail at least a day in advance for the call in number/scipe/facetime/physical location.
> Call:209-623-8851 or write an e-mail with the subject "performing arts division" to- actionjimjackson at gmail.com
>   For interested parties who will be in the Portland area that day, folks are invited to our new music/dance studio for the meeting and for a jam session afterwards.
>  Feel free to bring any gear, food or drink, or  a piece you want to share
