Dear Kristen,
I think these are all good ideas. I would like the outing in the summer to be something outside with a picnic. We could go to Mary's Peak or Alsea Falls. I thought our December meeting with games was a success last year. I wonder if we could get the ESD specialist who is working with the children in our district to come to a meeting.
In one of the e-mails, you mentioned having the Dark Café in October. My concern is that we also have the state convention in October. Fall is a tough time.
Carolyn

Subject: [Nfbo-linn-benton] Chapter Highlights & survey
Great meeting yesterday! Based on the survey results so far, our Chapter has decided:
· To host a Dark Café as an official Chapter Activity
· To have one social activity every quarter
· To include speakers and/or other informational segments in our business meetings
We still need your help, though! Let us know what speakers, information and social activities you would like to do. Please send any additional responses to these questions as soon as possible:
What social activities would you like the Chapter to organize?
What programs would you like the Chapter to organize?
What issues affecting blindness would you like the Chapter to pursue?
Kristen Jocums, President
Linn-Benton Chapter of the NFBO
