Calling all football fanatics and frenemies!

As Super Bowl LV approaches, we're happy to revive a fan favorite with the launch of 2021 Super Bowl Roulette! This fundraiser, which consists of nothing more than a well formatted spreadsheet, is open to all. Whether you're slaying the game and holding the number one seed in your Fantasy Football league or you can't tell the difference between offense and defense, you could win big alongside the Super Bowl champions on February 7, 2021.

How does it all work, you ask?

Let's start with the spreadsheet itself.

Horizontally across the top of the sheet, the numbers 1-9, followed by a 0 are displayed. The same numbers are also listed vertically down the far left column. The horizontal and vertical numbers intersect in 100 numbered squares on the sheet. For example, number 3 on the horizontal line meets number 1 on the vertical line in intersecting square 3.

The horizontal line represents the team score from the National Football Conference (NFC), and the vertical line represents the team score from the American Football Conference (AFC).

Now, how do you play?

Each numbered box can be purchased for only $5, and you can buy as many boxes as you want. Because we want anyone and everyone to have a chance at winning big, boxes are assigned upon purchase using a random number generator. No knowledge of the sport is required to win.

But how do I win?

After purchasing your squares, you have four chances to win during the game-at the end of each quarter. The secret to winning lies in the scores of the teams. The final digit in each team's score, or, if the score is a single digit, the only number, decides the winner. If you own the square where the two ending scores intersect, you win! For example, if you own box 3 from our example above, your horizontal or NFC score has to end in 3 (this number could be 3, 43, 13, etc.) and your vertical or AFC score has to end in 1 (this number could be 1, 61, 11, etc.) If your NFC score ends in 3, and your AFC score ends in 1, you win!

So what do I win?

At the end of each quarter, the owner of the square that denotes the game's current score wins $25, and whoever owns the square denoting the game's final score wins $50!

What if the score of the game stays the same?

Great question! Each square can win two times i.e. two quarters for a total of $50 or a quarter and the final score for a total of $75.

How do I buy my square(s)?

Getting in on the action is easy! Get in touch with NABS Treasurer, Elizabeth Rouse, at elizabethrouse.nfb at gmail.com<mailto:elizabethrouse.nfb at gmail.com> or by phone at 563-210-1854. Let her know how many squares you'd like to purchase and how you'll be paying. Then, send your payments via PayPal (@NABSPayments) or Venmo (@NABSlink). Make sure to put "Super Bowl Roulette" in the notation line of your transaction, and once Elizabeth confirms that your payment has been received, she will let you know what squares you own. Then, wait for February 7th, and keep an eye on the score!

Still have questions?

Reach out to Elizabeth, and she'll clarify anything you need.

Enjoy the rest of football season, and may the Super Bowl Roulette odds be ever in your favor!

Best Regards
