My name is John Martyn and I believe I have something you might be
interested in. For 6 months I spent developing a Jaws for windows script
that now allows the blind community to access Rhapsody, the music
subscription service. It has been tested and approved by the National
Federation of the Blind and is up and running!

RhapsodyBlind is a Jaws for Windows script that enables the blind or the
visually impaired to use Rhapsody, the music subscription service. The
interface is simple and very user intuitive. It enhances the experience of
listening to music on demand and supports features like drag and drop to
make your music experience more about the music and less about the
navigation.

Rhapsody, the music subscription service, is an online database that has
over 10+ million songs. You can listen to as much music as you want without
having to purchase anything. With a small subscription of $9.99 a month, you
can listen to unlimited music, create customized playlists, and search
through all your favorite artists. It includes music channels, the ability
to burn music, and transfer music with On the Go service to an approved mp3
player. The program also incorporates a music library to listen to your
personal mp3 collection and a quick search feature to sort through your
music efficiently.

You will need both the Rhapsody program and the RhapsodyBlind scripts.
Included is a link to the Rhapsody Download for the program, and a separate
download for the RhapsodyBlind setup. You will need both the Rhapsody
program and the RhapsodyBlind scripts. Included is a link to the Rhapsody
Download for the program, and a separate download for the RhapsodyBlind
setup. Once both programs are installed and running, press Control + Shift +
G to start the RhapsodyBlind guide.

The script makes it easy to remember how to perform tasks without needing to
remember a long list of shortcuts. With the quick key menu, it performs the
task for you and helps you to remember common shortcuts. Here is a short
list of features you can access:

   - Create and access unlimited playlists
   - Drag and Drop songs or albums to any location
   - Access your iTunes library and search through your existing music
   - Search online through a collection of 10+ million songs
   - Download or purchase music
   - Burn existing and new music to disc
   - Transfer on the go music to an approved mp3 device
   - Customize your playlists and burn queue
   - Restore music library, playlist, or mixer positions
   - Automatically returns to any task you were performing
   - Fast forward and rewind with basic controls

RhapsodyBlind is very stable and has a number of features to make listening
to music and creating customized playlists easy to do. If you use any of the
basic controls, such as fast forward, it returns you back to the song you
had selected in a list. Also, when you drag and drop an item, it returns you
back to wherever you were in the program. Another great feature is when
refocusing Rhapsody from another program, you may continue up and down the
lists you were browsing or keep searching for music seemlessly. This makes
it simple to continue your tasks without reaccessing the area you were in.
The guides will really help you get started and used to the flow of the
program.

Rhapsody Blind has been successfully tested with the following platforms and
versions:

   - Jaws for Windows 10through 12
   - Microsoft Windows XP and Windows 7

Jaws 9 does work, however it responds slowly and has issues with the search
for music window. This window is exactly like a webpage, but the forms for
the search field do not work properly. You might be able to work around
this, but I would recommend Jaws 10 and higher.

The requirements of Rhapsody Blind are kept to a minimum. It should work on
all hardware as the script has been designed to handle slower computers. In
Windows 7, there can be a small lag if you have a processor under 1.8 GHz. I
would recommend a quicker processor or a dual core, but it is not necessary.
