  Envision is seeking a Store Manager for its retail facility at Fort

JOB FUNCTION:



Responsible for the daily operation of an Envision Base Service Store
located on military bases.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



*        Maintain employees work schedules to insure the store is
properly staffed during all scheduled store hours.



*        Provide management of 2 to 10 subordinate employees including
performance appraisals.



*        Provide for the preparation of daily sales accounting and
reconciliation.



*        Primarily responsible for safeguarding of store assets,
inventory, and cash.



*        Insure that bank deposits are made daily via internet system.



*        Responsible for maintaining Quality Standards.



*        Provided for on-the-job training of new employees as needed.



*        Maintain the Envision standard for exceptional customer
service.



*        Ability and desire to make outside sales calls on local
businesses.  Bi-weekly reports sent to Regional Manager.



*        Insure that the store appearance is maintained in a clean and
orderly manner.



*        Coordinate with the BSC Project Manager on promotions and
special sales events.



*        Responsible for implementing and adherence to all Envision
policies.



*        Possess a good work attitude and a willingness to carry out
instructions, and other duties as required, while working with all
Envision employees as a team.



*        Communicate with other personnel concerning operation, safety
and overall performance of equipment and process.



*        Must be able to frequently squat and stoop.



*        Ability to bend frequently while lifting.



*        Insure the store is a pleasant place for our customers to do
business.



*        Promote the store in the community through active involvement
with select civic and business organizations.



REQUIREMENTS:



*        Minimum of 3 years experience in retail or related activity
with          a strong interest and ability to deal with the public and
customer service.



*        Ability to project a professional image to the public.



*        Must possess organizational, mathematical and leadership
skills.



*        Experience in scheduling and managing subordinate staff.



*        Experience in computer applications a plus.



*        Conduct disciplinary action in conjunction with Human Resources
Manager as needed.



*        Responsible for maintenance of all equipment, building and
grounds, and building security.



*        Research, analysis and recommendations for capital purchases.



*        Enactment of EEO and Affirmative Action Policies to include
interviewing, hiring and   termination of personnel.



*        Planning, organization and direction of three key operational
areas to ensure harmony and a cost-effective Operations Staff:



          1.      Managerial

a. Monitor safety and appropriate use of equipment (safety shoes,
forklift operation, etc.)

                   b. Plan and schedule manpower

                   c. Maintain equipment, building and grounds

                   d. Assist in new product development

                   e. Sales expansion through contacts and search

                   f. Establishment of standards

                   g. Building security

                   h. Fiscal accountability and responsibility

                   i. Follow and support all policy letters



          2.      Quality Assurance



                   a. Support of the quality function

                   b. Maintenance of high quality standards

                   c. Knowledge of government contracts and
specifications

                   d. Accountability and accuracy in record-keeping



          3.      Inventory Control



                   a. Maintenance of minimum inventory at all times

                   b. Accountability and accuracy in record-keeping

                   c. Warehouse layout

                   d. Shipping and receiving procedures

                   e. Coordination of year-end physical inventory

f. Monitor provided reports to control inventory and deal/excess
inventory



*        Actively supports the mission of Envision.



*        Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing




*        Must be able to occasionally travel to other Envision
facilities or other destinations as needed.



ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:



*        Maintain appropriate communications within area of
responsibility.



*        Accountable to the BSC Regional Manager for all phases of his
or her activities.



*        Identifies training needs, initiates development of
subordinates, and recommends effective    personnel action.



*        Well developed interpersonal skills, ability to get along with
diverse personalities, tactful and mature.



*        Responsible for maintaining employee morale.



*        Assumes other activities and responsibilities from time to time
as directed.



*        Consults with all segments of management responsible for policy
or action.  Ensures compliance within area of responsibility, make
recommendations for improving effectiveness of policies and procedures.



*        Keep employees informed as to company plans and programs.



*        Provides orientation and on-the-job training for subordinates.



*        Ensures that duties, responsibilities, authority and
accountability of all direct subordinates are defined and understood.



MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:



*        Ability to move, place or lift at least 40 pounds occasionally.



*        Must be able to occasionally squat and stoop.



*        Ability to bend occasionally while lifting.



*        Perform tasks that require occasional bending and twisting.



*        Must have ability to occasionally carry items weighing 40
pounds.



WHERE APPLICABLE:



*        Operate/supervise a Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) Pharmacy in
accordance with Envision, Federal, State, and Military regulations.



*        Ensure a viable shelf-life program is in place to minimize
inventory losses of HAZMAT MATERIAL.



*        Express Envisions interest in acquiring/bidding on A76 or other
Privatization efforts on Base.  Relate appropriate information to
Corporate.

performed.  Other tasks may be required for the effective operation of
the department.
