Seminars at Hadley Presents: Bullying: Why Does it Happen and What Can We Do to Minimize its Impact?

Let's face it: being bullied hurts. Would you like to gain a better understanding and be more prepared emotionally? This seminar will explore bullying from the perspective of those who are blind or visually impaired.

Join Seminars at Hadley as Lauri Dishman, licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) and owner of Your Inner Focus, a private mental health practice helping those adjusting with vision loss, shares her insights on bullying both from the perspective of those who are bullied and those who do the bullying. The goal is to help build a stronger resilience and gain greater confidence. Larry Muffett, a member of Hadley’s Seminars team, will moderate this 60-minute seminar. A question and answer session will be included as part of the seminar.

Join Ed Haines, Hadley Container Gardening instructor, as he talks about the joys of herb gardening. We'll discuss a variety of herbs that are fun and easy to grow, and share the tools and information you need to enjoy cultivating these wonderful plants.

This 60-minute seminar will be moderated by Hadley Senior Vice President Dawn Turco. A question and answer session will be included as part of the seminar.
