[Nfbofsc] accessible

Nancy, that is a very good idea that the nfb should look into. I remember when I was in college living in Greenville, the grocery store that we used there use to deliver to us. It was three of us living together and the first time we took a cab to and from the store. The manager told us to call the store and let one of the clerks know what we wanted and they would deliver it to us. I think it was sin Dixie.

For the nonperishable stuff, we have started ordering things from Amazon instead that way we only have to get the things that are perishable from the grocery store. The nice part is that it is delivered directly to your house. And you don't have to get a ride to go get those things. I think there is something with Kroger at least there was when I lived in Kentucky about you being able to call and let them know the things that you want, and then you could get a ride to the grocery store to go pick those things up. That is actually an interesting question. Perhaps it's something the NFB could investigate.

Thanks,

Somebody pulls the info down from online ads and sends it to me. I’ve never ordered groceries from anywhere. Oh yeah, I have messed around an afternoon with Dollar General and ordered a can of coffee. Ha! Online shopping is ideal but aggravating; I don’t know of a site I really find jam up easy, and it’s like everything else; when it’s good and right, they gotta new and improve it.

Happy birthday to your mama a little late and anniversary a little early, please.

Hay Vicky, which grocery stores are accessible for online ordering, and how does that work? Do I have to go and pick it up a few hours later; what is there turnaround time? also, is publics or Walmart accessible. Which one of the stores that you sent us on the list are most accessible, and where do you find those advertisements you send.

Justin.
