JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The incumbent is responsible for administrative support for the Aiken County District office/VR Counselor. The incumbent will also provide assistance with area office coverage and phone calls. Responsible for data entry into AWARE case management system of Pre-Employment Transition information as secondary duty.

MINIMUM AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Experience in a relevant program area.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

An Associate Degree and one year of clerical experience or a high school diploma and three years of clerical experience.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:

Ability to exercise discretion in interpreting and applying established departmental policies and procedures. Ability to understand and carry out complex oral and written instructions. Considerable knowledge in the use of computer applications. The employee will be expected to apply discretion and confidentiality in interpreting and applying office practices and procedures. The employee will perform administrative support duties for the Aiken Office VR Counselor. Position will also provide office and phone coverage for Aiken District Office. Employee will be responsible for meeting all designated productivity standards in a quality manner with minimal supervision.
