Subject: Update on Scott LaBarre

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

We are writing to ask for your thoughts and prayers for our friend, leader,
and brother in our movement. As Scott told us during our convention at the
end of October via Zoom from his hospital bed, he is fighting blood cancer
and other medical complications that have followed from that. Scott spoke to
us frankly, but with conviction and determination that he would ultimately
win out.

In the six weeks since he spoke to the convention, Scott's condition has
become more grave. He is still fighting, but the disease, along with chemo
and other necessary treatments take a combined toll on his strength.

Now more than ever, we need our NFB family to keep Scott and Anahit, along
with their children Alex and Carter, in our collective thoughts and prayers.
Anahit tells us that she reads the many messages of love, support and
encouragement Scott receives from friends all over.
He knows that we are all pulling for him! And we also know that he would
want us to keep all of you informed.

With love and determination,

NFB of Colorado Family
