Subject: Sending Again - Sunrise and Shine with NFB-NEWSLINE, Thursday,
November 24th at 9:00 AM - Sharing Thanks and Sharing a Very Special Day,
Together
Happy Holiday Week from 'Rise and Shine ,
This email was originally sent out on Monday, however I've been advised that
there might have been some strange formatting issues that cropped up. Hope
very much that the text comes through okay this time around.
Once again, I'll be on the road and bringing you another edition of Sunrise
and Shine with NFB-NEWSLINE while traveling. My host family is graciously
allowing me to step away from their company to visit with you all, my 'Rise
and Shine family for a bit on Thursday morning.
We would be honored if you could share a bit of your Thanksgiving morning
with us on Thursday, November 24th. Our last Zoom call took place two weeks
ago during a hurricane and surprisingly turned into one of our most
successful calls ever. The idea of meeting with a more relaxed and informal
setting this week met with wide-spread excitement, so we're going to give it
a go. Will this call set a record for the number of attendees? It just
might.
We would be so thrilled if you could drop in and visit with us, anytime from
9 to 11 AM. We know you most likely will be busy getting ready for a day
with friends and family, so feel free to stay as long as you can. Having you
say hello will surely brighten up our little Zoom parlor. I personally want
to know what others are making for their big meal later in the day.
In case you were wondering, does NFB-NEWSLINE have content about
Thanksgiving? You'd better believe it does. There's more about Thanksgiving
then you can shake a turkey leg at. I'll do a bit of research and tell you a
bit about what I find.
If you haven't been to one of our calls before, joining us at 9:00 AM for
coffee, tea and doughnuts will give you a chance to find out what you've
been missing. We always take time for welcoming new guest speakers and
participants and for lots of warmth and laughter.
Most of us have become pretty familiar with attending meetings using the
Zoom platform over the past couple of years and in fact, we've been using
Zoom since we launched Rise and Shine way back on April 16th 2020. If you're
not used to using Zoom or if it's still giving you difficulties, don't give
up just yet. You can access the meeting by clicking on he below listed web
link, by using the one tap mobile feature or by dialing the phone number
provided and entering the access code when prompted.
The regulars on our call are always warm and welcoming and are thrilled to
see new faces.
Hope to have you with us Thursday morning, see below for the Zoom info.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me before the
call. Check the bottom of this email for the Zoom call-in instructions.
