[NFBofSC] Rocky Bottom Retreat and Conference Center Board Update

Good Evening,

 

The Rocky Bottom Board is made up of thirteen members. Seven are assigned
and six are elected. The seven members are the five members of the executive
board of the NFB of SC, the Executive Director of the Federation Center, and
a Rocky bottom community member. Those members are Marty McKenzie, Lenora
Robertson, Debra Canty, Shannon Cook, Valerie Warrington, David Houck, and
Dr. Thomas Bowen.

 

There are six members at large who are elected. 

 

At a meeting held earlier this evening, the At-Large members of the RBRCCB
Board were elected. 

 

They are Thom Spittle, Ed bible, Harold Anderson, Gerald McMurray, Roger
Webb, and Vincent Downing. Janice smith did not run for re-election.

 

Once the at-large members are voted in, the officers can then be elected.

Elections are held every two years following the elections for the state
board members.
