Subject: [blindcooks] ST. PATRICK'S DAY BROCCOLI AND RICE
ST. PATRICK'S DAY BROCCOLI AND RICE
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 c. grated cheese or sm. jar of Cheese Whiz
1 rib celery, chopped
1 stick butter
Salt and pepper to taste
1 1/2 c. cooked rice
1 pkg. chopped broccoli (frozen)
1 onion, chopped
Bread crumbs
Tabasco to taste
Turn oven to 350F and grease casserole dish. Cook broccoli according
to package directions; drain well. In a large skillet, saute onions
and celery in butter until they are clear. Mix the cooked broccoli,
cheese, celery, and onions with the can of soup. Add the rice and
seasonings. Mix well. Pour into a casserole dish and top with bread
crumbs. Bake 45 minutes. Make ahead and freeze. Serves 6.
