[NFBOH-Cleveland] Calling all Mentors and Mentees

Ohio,

 

In keeping with the philosophy of the NFB. I am providing an opportunity for
those who are seasoned in the federation to give back.

 

Because the National Federation of the Blind also provides encouragement and
support to families with blind children and to people who are losing vision
or have become blind later in life, by bringing them into a network of tens
of thousands of blind people who are living full lives and who can serve as
mentors and role models. I would like to request volunteers to be mentors
for those who would like such a person. If you are willing to be a mentor
during the state convention, call or email me offline.

 

In addition, if you are a new sighted or blind member and you could benefit
from a mentor, also email me offline and I will match you with someone who
could provide a step-by-step process; to where you would receive the great
benefit from the 2018 Team Convention.

 

Remember, with love, hope and determination, the members of the National
Federation of the Blind transform dreams into reality. You can live the life
you want. Blindness is not what holes you back, and this could be the first
step in that process.

 

As our President says all of the time! Let's Go Build The Federation!
