Good Morning, Cleveland

I hope you've enjoyed the great weather. I think we are headed for more fall
like temperatures now.

Please read all of this email.

Cleveland, please welcome our three new members,

Margaret Cribbs, Michelle Maxwell, and Machelle Gulley.

Just a friendly reminder that both online preregistration and hotel
reservations end on Monday, November 4th. Please do not let these dates end
for you to take care of all your convention business.

Note: Online preregistration ends at 11:59 AM.

Also, please bring your items for the Love Bird Basket to the hotel. Chacity
will be creating it for the "not so silent auction".

The Senior division is seeking seniors 50 or older to be members helping
seniors learn about "what it means to be blind". If you are interested, join
the Senior division Meeting at the convention. Also, The Ohio Senior
Division is offering an opportunity to win $200 by adding your name in our
annual drawing. You can now purchase a chance prior to the State of Ohio
Convention by sending funds to our Treasurer, Gloria Conway by mail or Zelle
.

Each chance of a ten-dollar purchase gets you closer to winning the pot.

Anyone can purchase a chance, and you do not have to be present to win!

Note: if you purchase a chance by Zelle, in the comment field, indicate the
funds are for the "Senior Drawing". Conveniently, now you also can pay your
dues by Zelle. There is only a 50-cent fee. So, include that in all
transactions.

Here are the ways to purchase a chance:

1. Mail Gloria at,16008 Evening Star Ave, Maple Heights, Ohio 44137 and make
checks payable to NFBO Senior Division.

2. By selecting Zelle, use the email address: NFBO.Seniors at gmail.com
<mailto:NFBO.Seniors at gmail.com> and in the comments field, write Senior
Drawing.

3. Lastly, "Bill Pay" through your financial institution is a third option.
However, the bank check must also be made out to NFBO Senior Division and
not the Treasurer's name.

Finally, Cleveland will not have a Chapter meeting in November. However,
Cleveland will hold The Christmas party at the same hotel as the convention
on December 14, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 10: PM. EST. If you would like to
exchange gifts, bring one worth $15 or more. The hotel is requesting that we
make our food selection prior to arriving as they have another party the
same day. So, I will reach out two weeks prior to get your food preference.

See you at the convention and if anyone need assistance with
preregistration, please let me know prior to Monday.
