Good Morning, Ohio Members and Friends
If you have not planned to attend one of the most inspiring events of 2024,
please reconsider.
So, if you are a new attendee, we want to meet and greet you at the
DoubleTree Hotel. But, if you are a seasoned member who has not attended in
a while, come and rekindle relationships to continue the good work of the
federation.
Here are a few of the events that will educate, enlighten and offer support
for you or a family member. The agenda is attached with other events.

Thursday
The NFB of Ohio is inviting the general community to participate in our
opening roundtable, which is an Informational Seminar that will educate and
provide a snapshot on community networks respective programs and services
with a Q/A segment to learn what can benefit the blind at home, work, and
play.
Also, networks will Gain access to hundreds of blind Ohioans looking to
develop themselves and their communities. This event will be held November
14th from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Doubletree Cleveland-Westlake Hotel,
Canterbury/Dover Room. The NFB of Ohio will welcome: The Ohio State-Wide
Independent Living Council, Ohio Civil Rights Commission, Disability Rights
Ohio, My Blindness & Me Peer Support Program, Convenient Care Home Services,
Linking Employment Abilities and Potential, Outdoor Recreation Inclusion
Cleveland Metroparks, and Accessible Ohio. After the seminar, on hand for
your experience, we invite you to tour OOD'S "Mobile Traveling Bus," and
Cleveland Metroparks new "Inclusive/Adaptive Equipment" that will be onsite
in the Canterbury/Dover Room
Friday
All first-time convention attendees are warmly invited to attend a reception
with light refreshments from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. on Friday in the Sanctuary
Private Dining Room. President Payne and other Ohio leaders will be
available to welcome you to the convention and provide a snapshot of the
weekend's activities.

Whether you are an information seeker or a new gadget shopper, you will find
everything that you need to help you live the life you want at the 2024
Exhibit Hall. Visit Exhibit Hall on the Conference Level, (Rooms A/B and C/D
Rooms), which is located on the third floor, Saturday, November 16 from Noon
until 4:30 PM.

Otherwise, you will register onsite at the DoubleTree on November 15th. The
fee is $30, and the Banquet is $60.
