Removing Barriers to Work for Disabled Americans Act


Great news! The Removing Barriers to Work for Disabled Americans Act, H.R.
8884, was passed by the House on Thursday, July 23. This bill authorizes the
Social Security Administration to conduct demonstration projects, similar to
the one that would be created by the Blind Americans Return to Work Act,
within the Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) program. The House
bill has been transmitted to the Senate where we are hoping that it will be
passed via unanimous consent.
