Greetings everyone,
It is almost time for our groundbreaking Virtual National Convention. I hope
everyone is getting excited and looking forward to the largest National
Federation of the Blind National Convention ever.
If you registered for convention before June 15, 2020, and you are a current
member of the NFB, you should have received an email instructing you to
enroll to vote at national convention. This is separate from your convention
registration. If you do not enroll to vote, you will be unable to vote at
convention. The voting enrollment process is quick and easy. The deadline to
enroll to vote is Sunday, July 12 at 11:00 A.M. Time is running out so if
you haven't enrolled, get on it now.
Note: Only current members who registered for convention on or before June
15 can enroll to vote. If you didn't register before the deadline or you
aren't yet a member, you can still attend all the convention events. You
just won't be able to cast a vote.
The phone number you give when you enroll to vote is the number that you
must call or text from when casting a vote. So, if you enroll with your
mobile phone, you must vote from your mobile phone number, not your home,
office, etc.
If you meet the criteria to enroll to vote, you can go to nfbvote.org and
fill out the short form to enroll. Simply enter your name and the number you
will be voting from. If you did not register on time or you are not a
member, your voting enrollment will be denied. If you believe you should be
able to vote but are not allowed for some reason, please contact me as soon
as possible so we can address the problem.
As always, let me know if you have questions or need assistance. I hope
everyone has a great convention!
