[NFBOK-Talk] Happy hour and Banquet on Zoom.

Please join us after general session on Saturday

For a virtual happy hour and help us celebrate with Oklahoma's NFB
Convention Scholarship finalist, Brayan Zamarripa. The hour between general
session and the start of banquet will be a casual social gathering to chat
and let Brayan know how proud we are of him. Once the banquet starts, I will
attempt to share the audio stream so that we can stay on and listen to the
speech together. I can't guarantee that the quality of the audio will be
tolerable so be prepared to make a quick exit from our Zoom gathering and
switch to the NFB's official Zoom meeting or one of the many streaming
options. I will do the best I can, but I'm not convinced this will work.
Also, Assuming it does work, any background noise or chatter will make it
difficult to hear the banquet speech so I will be muting everyone once the
speech starts. If you want to unmute briefly to cheer when Brayan's
scholarship is announced, I'll be fine with that but I will otherwise be
pretty strict with the muting. I want the listening experience to be
enjoyable for everyone and as we have all experienced, background noise from
people who aren't muted can be very disruptive. Because of the need for
muting, I decided to do the happy hour thing to give everyone a chance to be
noisy. Hope this is an acceptable solution for those of you who want to do
the banquet together.
