Hello everyone:
I'm about to leave for an all day country fest at one of my local volunteer
fire companies.
but before I do, here's today's meeting minutes.
Enjoy reading, and if I missed anything, as always feel free to reply to
this thread.
NFB of PA jigsaw August Meeting Minutes
August 15, 2026
Hello Everyone,
Sorry for the delay in pushing back meetings due to schedule conflicts.
I pinky promise we will resume normal operations the first Saturday in
September.
Thank you as always for your corropation and understanding.
Now, on with the minutes.
Participants: Preston Gaylor, Chris Westbrook, Christine Callahan, Kenny
Darby,  and Rob Farabaugh

Meeting began at 10:09 AM
Round Table:
Preston has been doing busy with his apartment, and work, no beach trips
for him this summer.
He will be putting time off requests for convention, his up coming eye
pressure check up in October in Hershey, and a volunteering event with his
lions club at a local day program Penmar, we'll be having a carnival for
residents and staff on 09/11.
Chris got appointed to the PA Governor's commission on persons with
disabilities.
He also got accepted in to the Kenith Gerigan Leadership Program, so he'll
be going to Baltimore in a month.
His most recent deaf-blind meeting went well, they had a new member join
from Erie.
Kenny is excited for his birthday in August 5, he's now 64.
He took a trip in the beginning of August to the Dominican Repbulic.
Christine enjoyed national convention a lot, and got to enjoy the exhibit
hall.
Rob has returned to Florida, is a little under the weather, but has been
taking antibioitics.
He had a great time at Beacon Lodge this summer, Preston may return up
there one of these years with the help of his lions club.

State Convention is November 5-8 in  Hershey.
