Assistive Technology Support Specialist
Lincoln Intermediate Unit 12
New Oxford, PA
The Educational Technology Services Team at the Lincoln Intermediate
Unit 12 is accepting applications for an Assistive Technology Support
Specialist.
This position provides training and consultation that supports program
development with a high-quality primary focus of assistive technology
and educational technology for both internal and external customers.
Qualifications
• Valid PA Level II Certification: Special Education in both PK-8 and
7-12 or Special Education PK-12.
• Master’s degree
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the area of assistive technology
• Knowledge of hardware and software technology used to enhance access
to educational programming through assistive technology for all learners.
• Certification in speech/language or education of students who are
deaf/hard of hearing is preferred.
Terms of Employment
Full-time, 188 days, Professional pay to include competitive medical and
retirement benefits.
