Outreach Coordinator

Outreach Coordinator is primarily responsible for integrated consumer
awareness and outreach for all of the AT programs and projects at the
Institute on
Disabilities including TechOWL and PIAT. Activities include
administering a Wordpress website, corresponding with others through
multiple media channels
including social media, investigating solutions, documenting
activities, managing projects, drafting policies, developing
procedures and protocols and
analyzing activities/outcomes. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of directly related
experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may
be considered.
Required Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to independently initiate and implement tasks/projects
• Ability to administer a WordPress site and social media accounts
• Strong project management skills including time and resource management
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to learn about a range of assistive technology devices

Preferred:
list of 2 items
• Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) Certification.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities

This is a grant funded position.
This position requires a background check
