Dear Colleagues,

 

On Friday, March 13th I received my 2020 Census information in the mail. I
carefully emptied the envelope. I read the letter which among other things,
was giving me the methods and directions to send in my responses. (I used
the KNFB Reader to read the letter with my iPhone.You could also use
something like Seeing AI or AIRA).

 

I decided that I was going to use my iPhone to answer the questions online.
I went to www.my2020census.gov <http://www.my2020census.gov>  to begin the
process. In the directions from the original letter, I knew that I needed
the 12 character ID that was found on the front of the questionnaire
booklet. I used Seeing AI to read the characters, and I double checked it by
Using AIRA (AIRA is an app which allows you to use a person as a personal
assistant). I began the questionnaire on my phone, and I was done in 5
minutes. There were no accessibility issues for me.

 

You also have the choice of calling a toll free number, or filling out the
paper brochure. No matter how you choose to answer the 2020 Census,please
get it done as soon as you can.
