Hello everyone,

Here are today's Zoom events from the NFB of Pennsylvania. A summary of
today's schedule is followed by the full descriptions:

Friday, May 1, 2020:

1PM - 2PM, Fitness and Wellness Warrior's Time with Lily and caitlin

3PM - 4PM, Kids' Story Hour with Harriet

5PM - 6PM, Using Smart Home Technology to make Your Home More Accessible
with Rod.

7PM - 8PM, Braille Displays with Chris

Advanced JAWS Training with Joe - Friday, May 1, from noon to 12:45PM EDT.

Please join us as we explore the capabilities and usability of the
industry-leading JAWS screen reading application. Fridays are devoted to
advanced JAWS skills.

Fitness and Wellness Warriors with Lily and Caitlin - Friday, May 1, from
1PM to 2PM EDT.

Due to all of us being stuck at home during this difficult time, it is
important to boost our immune system and make sure that we are still getting
some exercise. During this fitness and wellness session we will be talking
about ways of how to boost the immune system, and about how to take care of
our mental and emotional health. We will be doing brief workouts,
meditations, and yoga over Zoom. I have learned a lot of these techniques
during my college years of taking integrative health care courses.

Kids' Story Hour with Harriet - Friday, May 1, from 3PM to 4PM EDT.

Keep your braille skills sharp by reading along with Harriet as she reads
favorite stories for kids in braille. If you want to take your turn reading
in braille to the group, you can do that, too. Otherwise, follow along in
your own book or on your braille display.

Using Smart Home Technology to make Your Home More Accessible with Rod -
Friday, May 1, From 5 pm to 6 pm EDT.

This is the 3rd part in a series on automating your home with smart sensors
and other devices. Rod will teach us what opportunities exist for
customizing your home automation devices, such as by scripting special
commands to run based on rules you set up.

Braille Displays with Chris - Friday, May 1, From 7 pm to 8 pm EDT.

This will be a discussion of braille displays for use with computers, smart
phones, and as stand-alone devices. Bring your questions and experiences to
share.

And don't forget that at 8PM tonight the NFB is holding a live recording of
the Presidential Release. The meeting ID for the Presidential Release is 935
0745 1766, and you can follow similar instructions to those below, just
substituting that meeting ID in place of the NFB of PA meeting ID.
