Hello everyone,
This email is packed with information, so please read it completely and save
it for your reference during the convention.
Everyone with ties to Pennsylvania is cordially invited to attend the NFB of
Pennsylvania caucus that will be held during the upcoming 2022 NFB National
Convention as follows:
Date: Thursday, July 7
Time: 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM
Room: Studio 10
The caucus is a time when we all get together in one place from all over the
Commonwealth and country to catch up with friends and NFB family. You also
need to bring your banquet tickets to the caucus to be collected so I can
exchange them for banquet table assignments if you desire to sit with the
Pennsylvania party at the banquet. All of this will be explained at the
caucus if you are unfamiliar with the process.
We will also hold an abbreviated Board of Directors meeting during the
caucus, during which we will review any pending resolutions that might be
controversial or need explanation, since the entire in-person convention
body will vote on the resolutions later in the convention and everyone needs
to be informed.
We will make every effort to stream the caucus meeting using the Zoom room
information at the end of this email, so even if you are attending the
convention virtually you are still invited to participate in our caucus
meeting.
Our NFB of Pennsylvania exhibit hall table is A27, where we will be selling
our delicious Asher's milk, dark, and white chocolate-covered pretzels and
peanut smoothies. Our table will be between the NFB Performing Arts Division
(A26) and a table shared by the NFB of Minnesota & BLIND, Inc. (A28).
We still need help to sell our chocolates, especially from individuals who
can help keep watch for people taking goods from our table. For every 2-hour
time slot you volunteer, you will get a free bag of peanut smoothies for
your time. Please sign up at the following web page as soon as possible:
