So sorry for what you and your family are going through.
My brother’s wife is going through a somewhat similar situation. She learned of cancer just maybe 3 weeks ago. She had surgery in Pittsburgh Tuesday. They did a total hysterectomy and also took part of her colon and some other small places. She is facing chemotherapy to get the remaining 5% of cancer. She plans to take off 8 weeks from work for recovery.
Two years ago, My niece had a double mastectomy and her husband lost 4/5 of his pancreas due to pancreatic cancer, also part of his spleen and later his gallbladder. They are both doing well now.
Hope the very best for your mother.

She will be treated at the James Cancer Center in Columbus. The tentative start date for her treatment is March 5. It will involve chemo and intense radiation. There is a mass on her groin and rectal area. She will take the chemo orally, six pills a day. Please be praying for my family during this difficult time. I will update you all as things progress.

I am looking in three locations at the moment: Pittsburgh, Harrisburg area, or Columbus. I would also be open to Cleveland. I graduate May 11 and would hope to start shortly after.
