Tip, if the bird gets out of the cage don't panic. Shut off all the lights and listen then you will find the bird. Cup your hands over the body. You will feel its precious heart beating really fast. Take it to the cage and let the door open and your hand take it inside. Then back away and close the door of the cage. Turn the lights on and with a soft happy voice talk to the bird. Now, if it is a parrot talk to someone else, gentle smile.

I fed my parrot pellots, so he wouldn't stink so much. The parrot I had was hand raised thus very sweet.

Subject: [NFBP-Talk] Bird owners

Hello all,

How is everybody doing? I hope everyone is doing well. I have a question. Does anybody know or know of anyone that owns pet birds? I’m considering adopting one. I’m not 100% sure so I thought to talk to other people in my situation with having no vision.
Thank you,
P.S. I want to say that I appreciate everyone that responded to my last email. However, at my computer, I wasn’t sure how to respond to everybody individually. Ever since google updated their Gmail on the computer it has been terrible working with Jaws in my opinion.
God bless and I hope everyone had a good time at the convention in Florida if you attended.
