NFB of PA jigsaw chapter meeting minutes
March 02, 2024
Meeting began at 10:00 AM

Members in attendance:
David Miller, Chris westbrook, Brian Mackey, frank beam,  Christine
Callahan, Lynn Hights, Linda Mackey, Rob Farabaugh,  preston Gaylor
Round table:
Brian will be interviewed on BCTV for exporssure to more members to
our affilalate.
Preston has been selling has rafal tickets for the NFB of PA, has 3
more left to sell.
Also, getting things ready for his local library's online auction
comming up in June.
Chris has been doing well, getting ready for the leadership seminar in
state college next weekend.
Rob is having fun  exploring florida, he says it is extremely warm
with temperatures close to 80 degrees.
Frank had a great birthday, with delicious cupcakes, and a nice dinner
brought to his home.
David did remind us his employer is ongoing hiring for employement
opprotunities, more info can be found at keystone blind association
online.
Lynn reported that the washington seminar went well, David Goldstein,
got to meet with a represenative in delaware county, members in
attendance also got to meet with John Federman, all of our bills are
ongoing with the house and senate
For friday, membership, foundraising, finnaceing, and fundraising, all
other communities will follow on saturday.
all other members that are not on comities will be working the mail appeal duty.
Lynn did let us know that this year's national connvention will be a
in Orlando at the rosen hotel, you can learn more about convenntion,
including scholarship info at the NFB website.
State convention will be taking place in November in erie, we are
looking at renting a charter bus for travel to and from, more details
about that will be forth coming.
For the annual raffal, tickets and money are due by the end of march,
since drawings will take place in April.
