Below, you will find our monthly meeting minutes for october.

NFB of PA jigsaw chapter meeting
October 5, 2024
Members in attendance:
David Miller, Frank Beam, Linda Mackey, Brian Mackey, Preston GaylorMeeting
began at 10:05 am
Round Table:
chris has been enjoying his net meda smart glasses, and may be working
teaching kids assistive technology, nothing' in the pipe line as of this
writing.
Very much looking forward to state convention.
Preston has been getting ready for state convention, and had a great time
at the Lori listens session at the Governor's mansion.
He did a local carnival for a special needs day program with his lions club
on Friday, which was a huge success.
Brian is finishing up his golf season, still deciding to attend state
convention, job hunting has been keeping him busy, and is still building
his membership for Greater Berkes.
Linda has been getting ready to see some fall colors around the state, and
family and friends are happy and healthy.
Frank is making good progress on his kemo and radation treatments for his
cancer, will be checking with his doctor for more updates.
He also is taking some amateur radio classes with his local blind
assoiciation in Scranton.
Old business
David reminded the panel that next month's meeting will be in Erie, details
to come.
If you're still interested in attending, online restrigation is still open,
you do have to secure your meals by october 15.

Live.
Make sure to get out there and vote via mail, absent tee, or mail in.
The presidential release for october was played.
