We had a productive at large chapter meeting this morning.

April 5, 2025
Members in attendance:
Preston Gaylor, Brian Mackey, chris westbrook, Lynn, rob farabaugh, frank
beam.

We started out with the monthly presidential release.
Round Table:
Frank is doing well and nothing new to report.
Preston has been busy and his volunteering and efforts and is excited for
spring and summer events.
Brian is keeping busy with his NFB projects, his mom did get the flu after
her cruise, but thankfully is all better now.
She is at a rottery connference in Hershey for the weekend.
Rob is doing well in his mobile unit in Florida.
Chris is starting a new job at Penn college to assist the accessibility
side of their disability services department.
Lynn did let us know that the happy valley chapter will be doing a spring
possibilities fair on may 30, to get connected with older adults.
the membership is getting ready for national connvention from July 8-13 in
new orleans, you can learn more and find out all you need to know at:

The state cacaus will be taking place during national connvention.
David Goldstein has been scheduling state convenntion planning meetings for
the 4th tuesday of the month.
Attendance has been very wonderful, watch your emails for times and updates.
We had 20 members interested in our national scholarships for national
connvention.
We will be having our 5 years at the bar, a piano bar fundraiser for the
parents of blind children.

Also, the parents of blind children will be putting together a cook book
for you in Braille, large print, and audio, look out for more info for
stacey leap.
we had a great turn out for our most recent coffee with the president with
alexa from orcam, highlighting new offerings that they have.
Meeting ajourned at 10:48 AM.
Next meeting at 10:00 AM on May 3rd.
