Subject: [State-Affiliate-Leadership-List] Iowa Department for the Blind Director Job Posting
Good morning,
The job posting for a new director for the Iowa Department for the Blind went live this morning. I will paste the link and the key job description info below. Please note the short timeframe. Many of you are familiar with the history of the state agency in Iowa. We very much want to find strong candidates for this position. Because of a recent change in legislation, the director is now appointed directly by the governor. Please help spread the word to lists as well as individuals who might be a good fit, and feel free to reach out to me with questions.
Thanks,
Helen
