Hello Everyone:
We had a pretty productive monthly at-large meeting this morning.
I've pasted the meeting minutes below, as always, if I missed anything or
if you have any corrections, please reply.

NFB of PA Jigsaw Monthly meeting minutes

Members in Attendace: Preston Gaylor, Chris Westbrook, Brian Mackey, Lynn
Heitz, David Miller, Rob Farabaugh
Meeting started at 10:08 AM.
Round Table:
Chris has been busy working with technology and a local disability services
to scan books using the Kerswhile Scanner, and going to meetings to get his
name out there.
David has been busy working, and is exploring getting his grocieries
delivered,  he allready has a Sam's club membership.
Preston has been busy with his volunteering projects,, he will be taking a
JAWS refreesher course because IFB solutions will be having a remote
contract opprotunity comming up, he will neeed to get a least 80 or 90
percent to move on to the contract.
He is keeping up with his email, but should be starting as soon as this
week.
Rob has been vacating and enjoying more travel.
Brian has been enjoying his events with  rottery club, and his recent golf
outing with the mid atlantic blind golfing association, and it had over 100
attendies.
the Greater Berkes chapter will be having an outreach event in Reading on
september 27.
Lynn has been applying for a remote job for a new training center in
Mississippi, she hopes it will be remote.
Her Accessible Pharmacy has been going well, she also got appointed to the
PA Rehabilitation Counsel.
The board received a nansty gram because of a communication problem with
the list serves.
She will be working on some medical testing for an upcoming surgery
hopefully after state connvention.
She is working on setting up more senior possibilities fairs  in more
regions in PA.
State connvention highlights

As a reminder, the all inclusive registeration is still open for $200,
registeration to be an exhibitor is also open.
we will be having a senior possibilities fairr thursday morning, we will be
doing some jewerley making, Family fued will be thursday night, there will
be 4 teams for $10.00
some of the questions will be NFB related.
Washington seminar will be at the end of January, also, some people have
been starting to pay their dues to their state chapter.

Brian did play the presidential release.
Meeting adjourned at 10:57 AM, next meeting will be October 4, 2025 at
10:00 AM over zoom.
