[NFBP-Talk] Question about blind people with vertigo

Hi denise, thanks for responding to my post. I think doctors have a hard time diagnosing vertigo and blind people mainly because we don't tell them that we see the world spinning around in front of us. also, they really haven't learned much about blind people or how to interact with us. I had my initial evaluation for physical therapy on Tuesday and really enjoyed the woman who is working with me. she is doing some research to see if she can find any thing in the medical literature about the prevalence of vertigo and blind people and how it presents and how we describe it. I told her I would reach out to my Federation family and see what I could learn here as well. blessings to you and hope all is going well for you now. thanks again, Donna
