Good morning Federation friends,
Thought some of you younger people might want to go on record with the issues you face when you're trying to get jobs.
best,

Hello all,

We have a really nice and unique opportunity to drive some local research and increase support for the Foundation at the same time.

Alex Cohen, Philadelphia Chapter Leader and University Professor has a really great opportunity for the community, please read the details from Alex, copied here:

My name is Alex Cohen, and I live in Philly with my wife and two sons. Most of my vision is now gone due to RP-GR and I’m very involved with the FFB. I’m a marketing professor at West Chester University of PA and research the experiences of consumers who are blind and low vision in the marketplace, healthcare, and employment.

My research team is currently conducting a brief survey to learn more about the experiences and opinions of blind and low vision job seekers who use screen-reading technologies for job searches and to complete online job applications. The survey takes less than 5 minutes to complete, and I would be grateful for your participation. All responses are anonymous, and no personal or identifiable information is being collected.

Again, to participate, we ask that you are over 18 years old and use assistive technology to navigate the internet or your smart phone. I am donating $3 to the FFB for each completed survey up to $600. You may contact me with any questions (acohen2 at wcupa.edu). Thank you very much for your participation and consideration!

Please use the link below to begin the survey.
