Hello Donna,
I will do my best to answer your questions. The message that I received was
the only information that has been sent so far. Like you said the only info
is the email is for the attorney general. I'm not sure why a phone number
was not provided. Also I am not sure why a script was not provided that we
could modify when sending our emails. I appreciate the scripts it helps me
as well. The scripts give a good starting point/reference guide especially
for people who are new to advocacy or have a difficult time understanding
the issues.
The audio that was provided is a reference point from national.
Lastly, I have not heard or been given any direction on the ID bill. I'll
send anything along that I may receive. Let me know if I forgot anything.
Thank you.
Michelle

Greetings michelle, I'm writing to ask a couple of things about this latest
legislative effort.
1. Do you have any contact information for the governor of Texas such as
email and phone number.? you provided the email for the man who I think is
the attorney general but it would be nice to have phone numbers for both of
them and the email for the governor.
2. When you say in your message to reference the audio from National, are
you asking us to quote from it or simply providing it as a resource to
understand what's going on? I've listened to it several times and it is an
extraordinary resource - and I love the song at the end!
3. All of the other legislative alerts that I've received in the past year
or so have included a script from National. is there some reason they are
not doing that in this case? For me personally, it's been taking a whole lot
longer than usual to put something together. wondering if other people are
having the same issue?
4. Do you know if anything will be coming in terms of fighting the voter ID
bill in Congress which will eliminate mail-in ballots? not sure if City
people think of this as a big issue, but for those of us living in the
country, with marginal Transportation options, it is.
Thanks for all the work you do,
Donna Hill, Susquehanna County, Jigsaw chapter
