Here is a link to our convention assistance application form. I believe everything you need to know about applying is included on the form. However, if you have questions about the process or the form, please let me know. I would appreciate it if you would send questions about this to this email list so I can respond to the question for everyone simultaneously. As a reminder, you must request that your chapter president provide us with a recommendation. I will be forwarding the necessary recommendation form to our chapter presidents today or tomorrow. So, they will be able to submit their recommendations to our committee soon. Chapter presidents should only recommend members in good standing and should let members know if they don't feel they can recommend them for any reason. 

Please, complete the application process no later than April 27. Here is the link to the application form. If you need assistance completing the application, you may seek assistance from someone in your chapter or from our office. We will be available to assist you beginning on April 24. The application should only take 5 to 10 minutes to complete. If you need us to assist you, please call 281-968-7733 between the hours of 9 AM and 5 PM from April 24-27. The application will close at 11:55 PM on the 27th. Our assistance committee will meet on or shortly after May 1, and once they have made their determinations, our office will notify recipients via email by May 8. I know that not all of you check your email regularly. So, I am giving you this heads up so you will know to check your email on or about May 8.

Please read the application carefully so you won't miss information about your obligations if selected.
