Cycle | Score projects in your district now!
To: Central Seattle Greenways <centralseattlegreenways at googlegroups.com>

NSF prioritization has begun -- see the message below for all the details.
Neighborhood Street Fund projects are large-scale projects ranging from
$100K to $1 million. CSG members submitted three projects (left-turn
signals at Broadway & John, pedestrian improvements in the area around 23rd
& Yesler, and pedestrian improvements on Olive at Bellevue and Melrose) -
and information about all the proposals are now on the website, apparently.
If you see a project you're particularly excited about, feel free to post
to this list to make us all aware of it.

And please do attend one of the community prioritization meetings!
Prioritization is more meaningful when you can discuss projects with
neighbors, and the conversations are a great way to understand different
perspectives about our streets and parks. Also, some of you joined CSG
after conversations at YVYC prioritization meetings. Recruit, recruit,
recruit! :)

District 3 meetings are this *Thursday, January 31, 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. at
Yesler Community Center* and *Weds, Feb 6, 6:30 - 8:00 at Optimism Brewery*.
As noted below, please arrive before the start time.

If you can't make it to one of the meetings, please do participate online!

best,
Brie

Hello,

Community Prioritization phase of
<http://www.seattle.gov/transportation/projects-and-programs/programs/neighborhood-street-fund/projects-map>Neighborhood
Street Fund
<http://www.seattle.gov/transportation/projects-and-programs/programs/neighborhood-street-fund>
2019-2021 cycle is now open! Tell us what street improvements your
community needs most by scoring projects proposed by neighbors in your
district now through February 22. The highest-scored projects will proceed
to the Voting phase in Spring.

How to score:

   - Online <https://nsf.consider.it/>: prioritize projects and participate
in an online dialogue with your neighbors without leaving your home!
   - In-person
   <https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/1/viewer?mid=1lAmyh45Jh8tWEeNDldIxRUlaBl5dPBPm&ll=47.636259000000024%2C-122.35898229999998&z=11>:
attend a 90-minute Community Prioritization Meeting in your district.
Meetings will include presentations by SDOT staff of each project proposed
in your district. (Please note that presentations will begin promptly at
the meeting start, so arrive on time! To request interpretation and or
another accommodation, please contact us at: nsf at seattle.gov or (206)
   733-9361 before the meeting date.

3 Tips for scoring:

   - Plan ahead: if you will be joining a community meeting, plan
accordingly to arrive no later than the meeting start time.
   - Do your research: in-depth project proposals
   <https://www.seattle.gov/transportation/projects-and-programs/programs/neighborhood-street-fund/current-nsf-project-applications>
are available on our website. Get to know the projects proposed in your
district prior to attending a meeting or scoring online.
   - Share: invite friends, family, and neighbors to participate, even if
they reside in a different district.

Ready to score?
Visit our website
