NFB Greater Seattle Chapter Meeting Minutes

May, 16th, 2020 

Meeting began at 10:00am

April’s Meeting minutes were moved and approved since they were sent out for the chapter to view.

Treasury report:

Beau sent out the check for the Student division to Marci.

 

State update:

  National convention fee is free this year.

Date change for National Convention: July 14th to the 18th

 

State convention, planning will start happening soon.

NFB of Washington voted to contribute $400.00  to 4 funds, along with a contribution for Giving Tuesday.

 

State updates:

  No updates for State convention yet, so stay tuned!

DSB will be opening up all categories on the waitlist.

 

 

An update was given from Washington Association of Blind Students. 

Jim summarized an article of how we can find different ways for self-care during this pandemic.

Beginning Balance: $1,882.10
Deposits: $25 dues, $0.10 interest
Withdrawals: $45 PAC plan donations,
Ending Balance: $1,862.20
