Straight Off The Canvas is a documentary about blind artists in New York City. Art is not just a visual medium. Blind people can enjoy, create, and teach art as a creative expression. The film profiles Elizabeth Castallano, an art teacher and artist, and it also tells the story of art teacher Jessica Jones and her students at Lavelle School for the Blind in Bronx, NY.
