NFB Greater Seattle Chapter Meeting minutes 

May, 15, 2021

The meeting was called to order at 10:05am

Amandeep announced two National Scholarship finalists from Washington, Luc
Gandarias and Shannon Donahue 

The chapter did an Ice Breaker of stating your name and one summer dish you
like to make. 

Kristen was introduced to the chapter. 

February's meeting minutes were read and approved. 

April's minutes were tabled. 

May's treasury report was tabled 

A state report was given which consisted of National and state convention
information.  

The state board decided that this year's state convention will be virtual,
and will be held November, 5- 7,2021. 

At T-Mobile park there are 3 stations that are giving vaccines.

Lyft is offering codes that give individuals a ride to there vaccination
appointment. 

The student division gave an update. 

We have a new chapter email address

There also is a new chapter number, where members would be able to call if
needed.

206-880-1473 is the new chapter google voice number. 

 

We wanted to bring back the chapter spotlight. Danny Heathman will be our
speaker for June's meeting.

There will be a presentation given by Mike Mello about Google products etc. 

The chapter is wanting to plan a summer event and took ideas for venues etc.
