[NFBSea] Scam email regarding gift cards

Hello everyone,

Two people have told me in the last two days that they received an email from me asking them to buy gift cards for which they would be reimbursed. These emails are a scam and are not from me. I would never send such an email. Unfortunately, this is a common scam and has happened to people in many other organizations.

If you receive such a message alleging to be from me do not respond to it and do not forward it to me. Instead, you can report it to the federal trade commission. Here is a link to their website and what to do if you receive such an email, including what to do if you purchased gift cards:
