[NFBSea] Fwd: APPLY NOW: SDOT Advisory Boards Volunteer Opportunities by Sunday, 6/26

This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in transit, pedestrian or bicycle issues. These boards do influence City policies and help to expand access and services. Seattle voters pay extra sales tax to buy more bus service from Metro for the city and the Transit Advisory Board has oversight of those dollars. I enjoyed my time on the Transit Advisory Board (2015-2019). Jacob served on the Pedestrian Advisory Board and did a great job advocating. Each board has one meeting a month, in the evening, and people also do subcommittee work. Serving on these boards is a great way to be a part of the community, game knowledge, share expertise and influence city policies.
