We are less than a month away from convention! The 2025 National Convention of the National Federation of the Blind is almost here. Please review the information below to help you prepare for your time in New Orleans. This is the first of several emails you will receive with details and important notices. We encourage you to share this information with chapter members who may not receive emails.

Pre-Convention Activities

Start Building Your Itinerary

App Access Coming Soon


The convention agenda can be accessed via the Attendee Hub platform beginning June 17. All registrants will receive an email invitation with links for both the mobile apps and web portal. The Attendee Hub platform allows users to customize a personal agenda, chat with other convention goers, and to join streamed sessions with the click of a button.


Separate Registration Activities


Some convention activities require separate enrollment or registration. Sign up for the Career Fair, legal office appointments, prepare for childcare and the NOPBC meeting.

*	Career Fair deadline approaching. The National Convention Career Fair is scheduled for July 9, 2025, from 1:00-4:00 p.m., Central. The career fair requires a separate registration. Veteran Scholarship


The NFB National Association of Blind Veterans is awarding three $1,000 scholarships to blind veterans attending this year’s convention. To be eligible, you must be a blind veteran, attend the division meeting on July 10, and attend all convention general sessions.

Volunteers Needed


Are you interested in helping to make the 2025 National Convention a huge success? You can help by volunteering in the Independence Market. We are currently looking for people to serve as demonstrators, storekeepers, and marshals. The Independence Market will be open Wednesday, July 9 through Saturday, July 12. 

The hours for Wednesday and Thursday are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We split this day into two shifts. Friday and Saturday, we are open from 12:00 to 1:45 p.m. only. We usually ask folks to volunteer one long shift and one short shift if they are able.
