Attached please find the meeting minutes for may 2025 of our NFBW 
Seattle chapter, in multiple formats, Web page format, and TXT, because 
I know not all don't have Microsoft office 365, and with all those being 
expensive nowadays..... Please read, and we will discuss tomorrow during 
the 'Business' part of our meeting.

NFB Chapter Monthly Meeting,
Greater Seattle Chapter
May 2025

Meeting beganat 11:09 AM
People introduced themselves 
8 members in attendance as of the beginning. 

Next, the NFB presidential Release Chapter version for May is being played while ordering food. 
At 11:34 AM Vp Kristin was here. 

Also at 11:35 Treasurer Cindy is here. 
11:37 AM we have now 4 board members and 12 members total. 

Resolution potential: Writing about bikes, scuters, and inaccessible pdfs. 
According to Kristin, there were 13 members with 4 members in April. Cynthia now have access to bank account. Membership committee is helping update addresses in the portal. NF,.org
Moved for adoption, and second. And accepted. 

March Secretary report: 8 members in attendance and King Elections. Moved, adopted and accepted. 

Cynthia's treasurer: $662.25 ending balance. Moved, adopted and accepted. 

Jacob: Planning committe report. Green Lake on June 21. Social gathering. Looking for input and opinion on proposal. Noelle says to go to Solstice parade. 

The BBQ. Will be at Noelle's house Sunday Aug 10 at 3 pm ish. People can bring their own stuff pot luck style. Tentative plan. Please let Noelle know how you can help, or Jacob. The Mackenstats are coming, and the Prows family are coming. 
Kristin put forward to adopt themotion about $300 > for the food and other stuff for the Chapter Picnic. With Terrifs, Kristin will generously donate more. 
The motion was moved and adopted. The planning committe can now use that as needed. 

Fundraising Com: Updases on Broadview. They are on board. But not for may. But for more in the late summer. May june July is booked. This place is now a confirmed partner for these kinds of activities. 
Lynn suggests: bar down the street and then Aurora Borialis. 
Kristin has been in touch with Halsion Brewery 
Suggested dccserent dates in September or october. Perhaps by the 6th Sep. Aurora has mocktales. Halsion does not. ? 
Kristin can go forward with this. Chapter adopted that motion. 
Update on Seattle Mariners. Prices are going up. Potentially some weekends, doing on Saturday. Summer. We can get main level and view level. Main is more expensive. 
Date would be Aug 23. 
Motion to adopt August 23 as the date. And accepted by chapter. 


Membership com: Did not have a meeting this last month. Work on a schedule. Working on consact info to input into national dadabase. Please reach out. 
More chapter business: July. Motion to adopt chapter meeting [qd combined august july meeting 4th saturday of July. Motion adopted and accepted. 
State update: Smiles laughter, and molecules out of food! 7 children attended. Very amazing. Mixing baking soda and vinager and mixing other stuff. Very hands on stuff. Measuring temps with talking thermometer. 
CATT nw also did something for parents. It was "a big hit." 
Age range from Step 2 u = 8-13 
The WTBBL: Income has gone down. State appropriated NOTHING for the library. Suits have been filed and judges ruled in FAVOR of our position. 
Employees of TTBBL trying to sort out. She will share more info when it comes out. 

Humberto offered a philosophy 

New member joining the chapter: Alexis. Alexis was brought forth for voting to bring her into the chapter. Chapter voted in. 
Another member. Toshina. Chapter voted her in, and accepted as a new chapter. 
Lynn madesome annghncements about the food equity progrm she's participatingin. Jacob made an announcement about transportation Green way advocacy program coming upnext week.
