Pierce Transit has been busy over the past couple months working on projects to enhance your transit experience, exploring the possibility of system expansion, and planning our Fan Zone Express service that will get you to events at our local Fan Zone to celebrate the Summer of Soccer.

You will find more on these topics and others in this newsletter. I also hope you will let your family and friends know that Pierce Transit is providing free rides on Monday, June 1, in recognition of the first day of Ride Transit Month.

Gig Harbor Connector Service Launches June 12

Gig Harbor is a wonderful place to explore, especially in the summertime! The Gig Harbor Connector (Route 101) provides convenient service between the historic downtown Gig Harbor waterfront district and the Uptown shopping district from June 12 through Aug. 23, plus it connects to other transit services at the Kimball Drive Park & Ride.
