National Federation of the Blind of Washington: Greater Seattle Chapter Meeting

Come join us for the monthly gathering of the NFB of Greater Seattle. Please see details below.
Note: There is a correction to October’s meeting. In September’s meeting the members voted to cancel October’s meeting due to the conflict with the White Cane Day event. However, it was pointed out that there is no conflict and that the White Cane Day event will be on the 17th. This makes it so that there is no conflict and a meeting will be held on the 10th. Thank you for your understanding and apologies for any confusion that this may have caused.

Things that we’ll be touching upon:


  *   NFB Seattle Holiday Party, happening in December so bring your questions!
  *   The Free2Fly 2026 5K Race, very exciting. It should have already happened by then. Members will bring their experiences and perspectives.
  *   Planning for next week’s 2026 White Cane Day Walk, WTBBL / Westlake
  *   NFB 2026 Coast to Coast challenge. This will be happening alongside our White Cane Day event. We’re killing two birds with one stone as our chapter participates in this nationwide movement spearheaded by the NFB and so we’ll be tackling this as part of the White Cane Day Event!
  *   And the business reports as usual.

Thanks for being a part of this movement and community. Feel free to invite any interested people to our meeting. Everyone is welcome, blind, or sighted.
